Had a fabulous lunch at Forty ******* Restaurant today. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. Would recommend to anyone wanting a great experience.
Having bought HP Ink Cartridges from Takealot, for many years, this last batch included a black cartridge which would not read and kept telling me to insert a cartridge. I then put in another cartridge, which works perfectly. I tried to find out about returning it to TAKEALOT (R349.00) but on going onto my order, it says it is not returnable!! Having spent the next 45 minutes with a HP customer care person, I gave up in dispair and have decided the best is to just throw this money away !!
I have reported 2 streets in the Anderbolt area where the potholes are horrendous and getting worse by the day. The last time I phone to enquire as to when these would be attended to I was told "we are waiting for product". PLEASE, don't give me that. This metropol is now under the management of the DA but, surprisingly it worked much better under the ANC. No matter who is controlling it, the streets concerned are Paul Smit (Cnr. Turf) and Main. These streets have heavy traffic and one has to drive on the left hand side to get past some of the potholes and on the pavement in the other street. When I asked who will pay for damage to the cars trying to get past these potholes I was nonchalantly told "send it to the place you pay your rates". Obviously with this sort of attitude I expect nothing will be done until a fatal accident occurs !!!!
Went to buy outdoor storage cabinets. Were given a written quote but because I'm a pensioner were advised to come back on the Wednesday to claim my 10% discount. Went back on Wednesday but when going to pay was advised the cabinets were on special so no discount allowed. NOT WHAT WE'RE WERE TOLD ON THE WEEKEND! Phoned their customer service and they said the cabinets were not in special!! Wrote to them and was again the cabinets were on special and that the customer service did not always know what was going on. So very dissatisfied customer?☹
Having complained about Flysafair not willing to refund a passenger when they (Safair) had cancelled the flight they have now come back and given the passenger a full value voucher, valid for 12 months and can be used by anyone. Whilst a monetary refund would have been first choice, this offer is very much appreciated and will be used. Thank you Flysafair
At the end of last year, I was asked to make a booking for a colleague to fly from JHB to PE and return. The return date being 31/12/2020. On the 30th December my colleague saw an sms from Flysafair to say his flight had been cancelled. - No reason - no getting him onto another flight - nothing - just cancelled.!! Although is was peak festive season, he and his girlfriend were able to get a flight back to JHB but at additional costs. I only learned recently that SAFAIR had not refunded him his money for the cancelled flight. I took this up with SAFAIR and their response is - he should have requested a refund before his flight ???? They cancelled the flight - they should refund - does not matter when he requests this. If they cancel they should look after their passengers - Do not book with SAFAIR unless you are absolutely sure you will get your money back if THEY CANCEL.
