54 days since my house was loaded in Jhb. Still waiting for the rest to be delivered. Paul and his team keeps on lying. ONCE AGAIN promised delivery by end of last week. ONCE AGAIN nothing arrived. Anybody contemplating using this company should get their heads read..... Stay FAR FAR FAR Away. Also, go and seach Gerhard Wieneke. There is a whole trail of people that has been taken for a ride since 2013, maybe even earlier than that. These guys are professional Con Artists and have perfected the art of lying and deceiving. Stay FAR FAR FAR away.
Paul from One Stop Movers sent me an email on Monday 7 Jan 2019 that the rest of ours stuff which we have now been waiting 6 weeks for would've been delivered by end of last week. Needless to say, that did not happen. I just received an email that it would now be delivered before end of this week. This man has no credibility and you cannot trust a word they say.
Here are the FACTS: I booked a truck to move my house from Randfontein to Melkbosstrand in Cape Town. Got a quote and the salesman Gerhard literally phoned me at least twice a day to find out if Im going to accept the quote. Promises of on time delivery and insurance etc was made and he sounded sincere, so I accepted the quote. I paid the deposit. Truck was supposed to be at my house at 10.00 on Wed 28 November. Then when I phoned to confirm, I was told the truck would be there at 09.00. Eventually I phoned again at around 10.30, to be told the truck had broken down and they are making another plan, but they will be there by 13.30. Then it became 15.30. Then 16.30. Eventually they told me they will come the next day. My wife left our house where she was waiting the whole day, to be called back because the truck eventually arrived at 18.15. According to quote 4 guys would be there to load, there were only 3. During the day, I was screamed at by the owner Paul who made it very clear that the clients are not always right and for some or other reason it is my fault that HIS truck was late. Anyway, a 32 or 34 ton truck was SUPPOSED to load the stuff, but a 10 ton truck arrived already halfway full. They eventually got most of my stuff in. Had to leave behind a desk. Then apparently the truck went to the depot to have my stuff packed onto a big truck. On their quote, the delivery time is stated at 4 - 6 working days. It is now 13 Dec, 15 days (11 working days) later, and I am STILL waiting for the truck to arrive. Last update which I had to call 3 times to try and get through to Paul, was that the truck is still in Mosselbaai waiting at a clients house for payment before he can leave. He asked me if I expect him to write off R8,500 and let the truck hit the road. Please note that he is now 5 working days late for delivery... My family eventually arrived in Cape Town at our new house, and we have been camping in our house for the past week. I delayed my wife with 2 days due to the fact that the truck was not here yet. Had to go borrow and buy Stretchers, Mattresses, fridge, paper plates, pots, knives and forks just so that my wife, myself and 2 daughters can at least live in our new house while we wait. Apparently the truck had a breakdown and was in Stilbaai since Friday 7 Dec. Paul EVENTUALLY got parts there on Tuesday or Wednesday. Needless to say, the parts did not work. When I eventually got hold of him, I was told the truck in now in Jeffreys bay..... and not Stilbaai... Anyway, Apparently another truck was dispatched from Johannesburg and they would pack all stuff over to the new truck on Wednesday night, to hit the road again on Thursday. According to Paul they need to stop at Mosselbaai depot to offload some stuff and then straight to Cape Town. But now the truck is at a client's house, loading up again while myself and how many other clients just need to sit and wait for this truck to EVENTUALLY get to Cape Town. That is the facts of the matter.... This has been the most frustrating experience I have had to deal with. They do not care about you, your time or your stuff at all. All they want is your money. PS - Do not be fooled by their Insurance. It is a scam as it is handled internal. No documentation can be produced. I am anticipating a lot of damage and will update with how the insurance part will go. To be updated once anything of mine arrives. Until then, we will be camping in our house while I have no idea where our furniture are or even the condition of it anymore.

My PVR has packed up, and I am trying to get my Pace decoder set up to view DSTV. They have successfully swopped my account to the Pace decoder, but they cannot get the Xtraview link broken between the 2. I have now spent more than 2 hours on the phone talking to numerous agents, all who try the same thing over and over and over and over again even though it's not working.

They apparently escalated the problem with a promise that it will be resolved. Guess what, nothing.

They answer my messages on Facebook, and now we are trying the same old sh*t once again. Guys, we are not trying to change the world here.

All that they want you to do over and over and over is unplug your decoder, wait for 10 seconds, and try again. O, and I was asked to remover the smart card and wipe it once. I was also asked whether my HDMI cable was plugged into my tv as I am not using my PVR.... This is where I propperly stripped my moer.

I hate having to deal with this company. Cannot wait for another alternative to become available. DSTV Multichoice, you absolutely suc****!
