I placed an in order on the 24th of December, and appreciate that the company was closed when the order was placed, but upon return I received an email from Tara confirming that my order will be received at the end of the following week. I made arrangements to have the school return the stationery so that I could label it but had to make alternative arrangement as I had not received my labels from Kidico as promised. I spoke to Miche` who assured me that my order will be cancelled and that I will receive email confirmation thereof, instead, I received an email stating that my order is complete. I have no use for the labels and all the lady I spoke to today (who dropped the call before I could get her name), could say, is that they have a backlog in printing. She had clearly not being paying attention as I don't need them printed, I need to them cancelled. I have not received any responses to my emails regarding the cancellation despite numerous follow ups.
Today my husband and I went to collect a desk at the Rochester warehouse in Jet Park. We arrived just after 11:00 and were still not attended to by 12:00. When we enquired about what the delay was we were told that someone was assembling the desk (we did not request for it to be assembled), but the gentlemen assured us that it would only take 10 minutes. It is now 12:40 and we've only just received our desk after I reported the matter at the office. There was no sense of urgency and everone was very laid back with little urgency and showed no concern even after I had highlighted on several occasions that I have to be back in the North at 13:00. I would not recommend that you make a collection from the warehouse. If you can find a similar product at Decofurn, rather purchace from them as their customer service is much better.
I called discovery on Tuesday last week and spoke to Larisa regarding a dependant that was removed from my medical aid without my permission. She admitted that the error was on their side and promised to get a billing consultant to call me the following day. Needless to say, no call was received. Today, I called at around 10:45 and spoke to Evan who promised the same thing. I refused to accept this promise of his as discovery hasn't delivered on their promises in the passed. He mentioned that he called the billing consultant but could not get through. I asked for the contact details of the billing consultant responsible, and he then just kept quiet, but I could hear him typing in the background. He pretended not to hear me on the phone until I eventually hung up. My 5 month old baby is not covered by my medical aid and discovery couldn't be bothered. They just full of empty promises.
