<p>Telkom's call centre agents have been entirely incompetant.</p> <p> </p> <p>I called several weeks ago to cancel my Telkom services and have my line made available to transfer to another ISP (Web Africa). The call centre agent told me that I need to email someone and that they have a 30000 request backlog so they will get back to me in a few weeks. The email address given was incorrect.</p> <p> </p> <p>I eventually found an email address on mybroadband and a pdf cancellation form somewhere else online (not on a Telkom website) and emailed my cancellation request.</p> <p> </p> <p>After several weeks had passed, my internet stopped working, and my Telkom website login no longer works, but my line was not released for transfer to Web Africa.</p> <p> </p> <p>After several calls to the call center, I can't get anywhere. The agents just make excuses, saying that their system is down and hurry to end the call.</p> <p> </p> <p>After spending several hours in the retail store, you are simply turned away and asked to call the call centre.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Is there no way to get any service from Telkom? </p>
