Reliable Store based in Roodepoort (https://reliablestore.co.za) is completely unreliable. At first they still occasionally responded to my emails (although sometimes 3 weeks later), but now that I need to return a product and request a refund, they don't get back to me at all. No one is answering the calls either, although the website is still fully operational and doing business everyday! Be warned: STAY AWAY!
Matthew from Roofing King in Port Elizabeth has taken our money on 12 September 2020 for a quote he had given to fix a few things around the house. He insisted that he is both a Building Inspector, and registered with the Master Builders Association, but refused to give us his registration number. I followed up with them - they had never heard of him or his company. He also claimed to have been heavily involved in the building of the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium, amongst a long list of other accomplishments. He apparently flies in his lawyers on private planes from Pietermaritzburg - watch out Eastern Cape lawyers - you're not good enough for this guy! I do give him 11/10 for creativity, originality and determination with his WhatsApp messages to keep all his customers in the loop with his hectic schedule (19 messages and counting - unfortunately I couldn't attach pics to this post). I don't know how I could ever think such a busy and important man would be able to fit us into his calendar. I also think it's safe to say, after 5 months, that he just won't make it around to our place anymore. Of course when we first accused him of being a thief he insisted that he was no such thing! What do you think - perhaps he thought the money we gave him was an early Christmas gift? Please beware PE! https://m.facebook.com/.../Roofing-King-107594414281702/
First of all I am extremely disappointed with your customer service email ie. [Email Removed]

I had trouble with no one responding to it the first time early last year when I needed to change my branch. I ended up working through one of the branch managers to get a response after a month, even though the voicemail says emails will be answered within 72 hours!!!

Then this year I needed to cancel my contract completely and until this day no one has responded on my emails. I also struggled to get hold of someone on the customer care telephone line - I actually thought there was not such a service and that only the email option existed, until one day I magically got through to an actual person in Cape Town. She said that I could pay an amount of R 1,204.50 in order for my membership to be cancelled with immediate effect. Apparently the quote was only valid for 24 hours. I immediately paid that amount via EFT (on the 8th) and I have the proof. However, on 31 January the usual amount of R365 went off my account again!?!?!? I am posting this complaint since I am TIRED of trying to get hold of anyone at Planet Fitness to talk to. My reference was: MOR_BEZ0036.
