Quality and selection of products have gone down over the past year. Vegetables and fruit doesn't last longer than 2-4 days. I've notice that lots of products are not avaliable and/or out of stock. Today was the cherry on the cake!!! I bought some Quality Street chocolates . The chocolates were unedible, it was all white and fillings were dried up. I've returned it to the shop, requesting to swop it. Opened the "new" pack... same issue. When I asked the manager to removed it from the shelves, his answer to me was" The sell by date on it was May 2025 and they can still sell it!!!! Day light *******.. they are aware that it's no good and still selling it. Clearly they don't care about what they're selling to their customers. People work hard for their money, everything is expensive and we are still getting cheated by places like Spar Queenswood. It was always my go to shop for the past 8 years but NO more.
Capitec put a hold on my account. I wasn't informed that they've done it. When I went to the branch they weren't able to help me. There was no reason given why the hold was put on my account. I've contacted customer services. After speaking to about six agents, emails send to Capitec etc. I still have no access to my account. This is outrageous!!! I'm a pensioner and my grant gets paid into this account. If I can't receive my pension into the Capitec account, that is going to lead into endless issues with Sassa. Capitec treat your clients better and make communication easier and more efficient.
