I bought a car in January from this compony. It came with a roadworthy certificate. The price was not negotiable. The Sunday after the Friday, the car didn’t start . Something wrong with the ignitian. This happened twice in two weeks. I am very unhappy about this deal As I was under the impression that I bought a reliable second hand vehicle. I will be careful to recommend this dealer. A month later, there was a rattle at front wheel. We took it to mechanic and he said that there is a massif oil leak which had to be fixed immediately. The front and back shocks need to be relplaced. Less than 3 months later, the car stopped in middle of road because of nut which connects the wheel with the breaks fell out. This was the initial rattle i heard. Where and how did this compony get a roadworthy certificate if the car is in this syate. None of these things were communicated with us. I am 54 and have never had so much trouble in a span of 3 months. I would think twice to buy any car from them again.
When in went to the Eikestad Capitec branch a week ago, i did an enquiry regarding the FICA process. Regarding the proof of adress, one of the staff said that i must bring a letter of proof of adress, a copy of me and my husbands ID, and the spesific form they gave me. So a week later ( Thursday) i went back with all of that. Sat in a looong que patiently ( while my son waits paiently at schoo)... Just to hear that i have to come back again beause the proof of adress needs to have a signature or stamp. A year ago they accpted that same letter... So i went . My husband phoned again for a signed letter which te Director of the compony signed and emailed and off again I went ( today Friday) only to hear that the letter must have a stamp AND signature. I blew it and then they said they will accept the signature without the stamp but it must be on the original letter !!! Seriuously Capitec, get your people informed! Im a teacher and this is absolutely a waist of time !!
