I have an ackermans gift card, which each time i have tried to use in a store has been a long drawn out procedure as they cant scan the card and view the balance. They have to go to the back office and try to call and find the balance. Most times the phone is not available to call or they cant get through, etc. Today I decide to call the call centre myself.<br> They tell me the card has been deactivated and I have lost R206. How ridiculous as there is no expiry date on the card for me to see. This is my money which has now been lost due to their inefficient system. Totally disgusted and feeling robbed.
