I have lodged a claim for damages to my boat in September 2014 and supplied all the info requested an assessor was allocated and he instructed an boat repairer from Richards bay to inspect the boat and supply an quote. The assessor informed me he gave his findings to the insurer. I kept in contact with them in regular intervals when they assured me they would get back to me. This carried on until end of November 2014 when I proceeded on my annual holiday. I proceeded to Sodwana bay where my boat is stored and had it fixed at my own cost. I phoned the broker at McCrystel and he said it is fine I must forward him the invoice which I did. Earle January 2015 a new assessor was appointed and I gave him all the necessary documentation every week I phone him for feedback then he give me some lame story.
