I was involved in a bumper bashing incident last week. Although being accident free for many years things do happen in an instant. From the moment the incident happened Outsurance was by my side via phone until the recovery vehicles came and assisted. I was dropped of at my residence about 2 hours later. All that I can personally vouch for is that from the word go the service was impecable. Its really a wow factor assistance. They really listen and take ownership of everything. No stress or worry to me as a client. Awesome service guys by all involved. Thank You again.
On Saturday the 28th February I went to the PLIC outlet at Cape Gate regarding a product of theirs that went defective. (Plastic dog basket). I bought the article about 4 months ago. I went to the store to ask if they could replace the defective basket. The lady that assisted me was helpful and reported it to the manager. I heard her explaining to the manager the problem and that I had informed her i don't have the receipt as i did not see it necessary to keep it. She then said no problem I can bring it back. As it was late Saturday afternoon I said I will return it early Sunday morning.
On Sunday morning app. 09:00 I entered the outlet to exchange the item. The staff on duty was not aware of my problem as the lady who assisted me the day before was not in. The lady assisting me was very abrupt and asked where is my receipt. I explained my whole situation from the beginning again. She then spoke to the manager who recalled something of the day before but insisted that I produce the receipt.
It is not rocket science to see their price stamp and product emblem on the side. What would the receipt have changed. I was very upset and left the store. Price R235.00 badly spent.
