Accepted his quote on 7 Nov 22 and paid the deposit shortly after. I was asked for additional money a few weeks later as he had cashflow problems, the project wasnt anywhere near completion so i was obliged to give him more money hoping he would finish up. 2 months later i still had an incomplete hole in the ground and a yard full of rubble which i eventually had to get removed myself. I got no pump, filter, plumbing or electrical materials and havent heard from him since 21 Dec. Luckily i had to pay the pool manufacturer directly otherwise he would probably have run off with that as well. I took years to save up for a pool and Nick took it all from me with nothing in return but an incomplete hole in the ground. Please beware.
My phone was damaged and I requested that they replace it due to the severity of the damage through my personal insurance. They insisted on repairing the device and I paid 3500 for the repairs. After collection I had wifi issues, calls were unclear as people couldnt hear me and a week later I had issues with the touchscreen. I returned the device and more than a week later I collected again. I was told there was nothing wrong with the phone and they obviously did nothing to it. I showed the lady In the store what was wrong and she booked It in again for the second time. They then replaced the lcd and fixed the call clarity issues but wifi was still not working. The phone was then sent to jhb again and I have now been without my phone for over a month while they attempt the same repair for the FOURTH time. I cant be satisfied that they are always waiting for feedback from suppliers, no urgency to keep the client happy. I dont want to do business with vodacom any longer as I dont feel comfortable with their poor service delivery but they expect me to pay them if I want to take my business elsewhere and cancel. Totally pathetic. Same script everytime I ask them for feedback.
