Beware of van Rooyens Bricks – Non-Delivery and Repeated Excuses We placed an order and made full payment to van Rooyens Bricks, expecting a timely delivery of the bricks as agreed. Unfortunately, after payment was made, the company failed to deliver the goods. We were given numerous excuses — including weather delays, the driver not arriving, and various logistical issues. After persistent follow-ups, we were promised a refund. This refund was supposedly processed and then reversed back to the bank, with further assurances that the company’s accountant would make a direct payment “immediately.” This same excuse was repeated multiple times, and yet no refund has been received to date. The apparent CEO, Jaco van Rooyen, has been mentioned in communications but has failed to resolve the matter. This experience has left us with no choice but to proceed with opening a case at SAPS and pursuing legal action. We urge others to exercise extreme caution when dealing with van Rooyens Bricks. Our experience suggests this is a **** operation, and we hope to prevent others from falling victim.
