Beware of van Rooyens Bricks – Non-Delivery and Repeated Excuses
Beware of van Rooyens Bricks – Non-Delivery and Repeated Excuses We placed an order and made full payment to van Rooyens Bricks, expecting a timely delivery of the bricks as agreed. Unfortunately, after payment was made, the company failed to deliver the goods. We were given numerous excuses — including weather delays, the driver not arriving, and various logistical issues. After persistent follow-ups, we were promised a refund. This refund was supposedly processed and then reversed back to the bank, with further assurances that the company’s accountant would make a direct payment “immediately.” This same excuse was repeated multiple times, and yet no refund has been received to date. The apparent CEO, Jaco van Rooyen, has been mentioned in communications but has failed to resolve the matter. This experience has left us with no choice but to proceed with opening a case at SAPS and pursuing legal action. We urge others to exercise extreme caution when dealing with van Rooyens Bricks. Our experience suggests this is a **** operation, and we hope to prevent others from falling victim.

I ordered brick on 14 April 2025, full payment was made. They could not deliver due to the rain. I got another supplier and asked for a refund, which they agreed to pay back. It is now a month later and no refund is done. Every day is one lie after the other. I have opened a case against today. They blocked me on all media platforms and on whatsapp. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company as they are ****s and *******.

Van Rooyen Bricks and Sand is a ****!!!!
****!!!! They make you pay a deposit, give you a reference to contact who is involved in the **** and then come with **** pictures and a bunch of excuses trying to back up their messages and reasons for delay. I asked for a refund and they now have blocked me on all platforms. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND THEFT

Van Rooyen Bricks and Sand is a ****!!!!
****!!!! They make you pay a deposit, give you a reference to contact who is involved in the **** and then come with **** pictures and a bunch of excuses trying to back up their messages and reasons for delay. I asked for a refund and they now have blocked me on all platforms. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND THEFT

Bad service and dishonesty Van Rooyen bricks
Paid this company a deposit for bricks, after countless excuses for not delivering and the driver keeps being 10 minutes away. I requested a refund and the “Owner” Jaco van Rooyen sent a screenshot of a “refund” being made however when I requested a pdf POP from the bank they have failed to provide. I would not advise anyone to do business with them.

They Steel ur money and making empty promises. Waited 4 weeks for my material and asked numerous times for my money back. The he did a transfer back that is ****. 4days later and no money shows the as ****mers. So I don't know how this people give reviews to this company. All ****?. Hope everyone see this review. That was my last money from my dad to build a small room for him. Thx to them we lost it and they never answer there phones.
