I have been trying to call the company, and all I get is an answering message. Why do I get the feeling that this is a **** company? I wish we could find honest people!

Yesterday, I bought a vacuum-packed chicken from Brackenhurst Pick n Pay. When I opened it, I was immediately hit with a foul, sewer-like smell so strong that I nearly gagged and vomited. The packaging was dated 05/02/2025, meaning it should have still been fresh. When I returned the item to the store, the manager could smell it even before opening the packet. I cannot believe that a company as big as Pick n Pay would allow such a severely spoiled product to be sold. Where are the quality and safety checks? How did this even make it to the shelf? This is not the first time I’ve experienced an issue like this with Pick n Pay, but I can say with cer*****y that I will never buy from them again. I am utterly disgusted with the service and the lack of quality control from a company of this size.
It's reassuring to believe that during times of financial strain, major retailers will offer us great deals. Take, for instance, the 5kg Carrots for just R12 – what a *****! Carrots are versatile, and this seemed like a bargain. Then you get home and open up what you have brought. Guess what 5kgs for rotten carrots, I think, I was just ****med to buy 5kg of rotten carrots so Pick n Pay does not have to lose out on profits, and they are hoping that I am not going to go back and demand a refund because it will cost me more than R12 to do so. Well, thank you, Hello Peter! - (less than 5 cents) It's frustrating when businesses prioritize profit over quality, especially when prices are already high. This experience leaves a bitter taste and raises questions about the integrity of the marketing tactics employed by Pick n Pay.
I have been a client of Vox since October 2023. I currently spend around R800.00 per month. I recently wanted to add a Voice Account for R29.00 and to my amazement, I got declined. So here is my thinking. Vox is telling me I cannot afford R29.00 extra on my account. That is a 2L Milk or a Pie at the shop. I then decided that if my current R800.00 is not good enough then let me move. My Fibre is ****, and always dropping so let us investigate. M web is offering R69 for 150 mins. Vox is R29 then R0.46 p/min. Calculations (R69.00 - R29.00 = R40.00. R40.00 / R0.46 p/min gives me about 87 minutes. Conclusion R69.00 with Mweb is 150 Mins, whereas R69.00 with Vox is 87 Mins. Thank Vox for declining my R29.00 order, because now I can get it cheaper from another place. So you now have potentially lost R1000.00 billing per month, for the cost of a 2l Milk or pie from the shop. Good sells sense.

Good day, I cannot believe that such a big company like Dis-chem can have such a bad accounting system and poor customer relationships. You debt my account one month, then double debt my account the next month. I send an email to the billing email address and no one replies, back. How can you cancel a policy in April 2023, and yet in June 2023 I was able to see the doctors and get medication? Your call center is so noisy that you cannot even hear a word the agent is saying. DSTv Internet is the biggest bunch of idiots in South Africa. I have been waiting to be connected to DSTv Internet for the past 5 Months. and no one can assist me. All I can do is just sit here and look at the DSTv Router and streamer box and pray that one day it might be activated. When I contact the support desk, all I get told is, I will get back to you, and no one does.
I recently decided to switch to the DSTv Internet package and take the steaming option for R 999,00. Firstly, getting someone from DSTV Internet to contact me is like asking for no load heading for a year. It is impossible to get anyone to contact me. I have even tried the Whatsapp line, the website and even the call centre - if you can call it a call centre. DSTV is very quick to cut my satellite dish subscription before the streaming option works. I have had NO internet and no DSTV for 2 months now. No one can help me at all. What was supposed to be a "quick and easy" switch has turned out to be a nightmare. The fiber connection is there but nothing works. Nothing WORKS!!! I am starting to wonder why I need a DSTV subscription and have to pay for all the reruns when Netflix, Amazon, and Disney Plus are so cheap. Make one think, doesn't it..
