Beyond disappointed with the service from Makro Amanzimtoti. This is a follow up review to my last post about Makro and the Hisense TV I purchased from them on 8 Nov 2020. To date they have not provided any feedback from them regarding my TV remote that does not work. I have absolutely no use of this TV as I can not even put it on. There are no bottoms on the TV itself which I find absolutely ridiculous. I never even thought to look at that before purchasing. It seems as if Makro can not be bothered to even respond. I have called the store on multiple occasions an was told the managers are not available. I then left messages for them to call me back but nothing as yet. I would never recommend Makro or make any other purchases from them. As their approach to customer service is a disgrace.
This is a complaint about Makro Amanzimtoti in Durban. I recently purchased a Hisense 49 inch TV from the above store on 8 Nov 2020. Since then I have a had a problem with the remote. The remote does not always work. I was unable to change the channel from TV to Netflix or even the volume. I originally thought it was the batteries so I did change the batteries on multiple occasions. But again it worked intermittently. With in the past 3 days I noticed the remote does not work at all. I am unable to use the remote at all. It's is completely useless. I can't even turn on my TV and to make matters worse there are no buttons on the TV to make any changes. I have contacted the Makro customer service department who advised me there is nothing they can do I need to deal directly with the store from which I purchased the TV. I have tried multiple times to contact them with no success. I once again tired this morning and sople to the manager who yet again was no help as she said it is the problem for Hisense directly. She also said the remote was not covered under warranty which I believe is completely ridiculous as this purchase was a 1month and half ago. I can't even use the TV. The manager said she will send hisense an email and wait for them to reply as they were closed due the holidays. This is highly frustrating and inconvenient to me. I am extremely disappointed in the hisense device as well the the assistance from Marko. I hope this complaint is received by the correct department and this matter is addressed asap. As the matters of this pandemic is getting even worse, the TV is my familys only pass time. And now we don't even have that. Frustrating is not even the word I would use as I am beyond that at this point.
at the intersection of Argyle and Umgeni Road in Durban at a red robot where my car was stationary, the driver of a company vehical smashed into me.this was reported to the police. this hapened over a month ago, and neither the company nor the driver have contacted me. this is highly frustarting, because as I am the victim in this situation.The driver had said he will sort the costs for the damages, I must supply him with quotes. which I have done.as the driver was in a company vehical i beleive the company should take responiablity as it is the company's name being disgraced.I have conatcted the company many times with no response from them.I am the victim yet I am the 1 running around. as a company they should be disgraced in the matter in which they have disregarded the accident their employee caused.I have taken time off work to get quotes, go to small claims court. this is all on my cost. i think this is ridiclous as the company cannot be bothered to sort this matter.I dont think they would be so understanding if the rolls were reveresed.I believe as the driver was in a comapny vehical the company should pay the cost to repair the vehical, and deduct it from his salary.annoyed
