My baby is turning 2 and my claim has not been paid out or even settled, I understand that the Department of Labour might have some limitations related to the global pandemic, but what I don’t understand is Melanie or anyone else from the company not providing me with any feedback or even an update on the progress of my claim, despite all my efforts to make contact with them. After multiple phone calls, emails, and messages over the past 3 months I can confidently say she is avoiding me, this is backed by the fact that she does not take my call but can view my true caller profile seconds after. I paid them for a service which they did not deliver. Very disappointed in their professionalism. Is one minute of her time for feedback too much to ask from a client? This is after they initially got my surname wrong (despite having all the correct documentation) and confusing me with another client whose claim was already settled, and I never complained!! Guys this is unacceptable! In desperation (because I am owed a substantial amount of money) I even made contact with the department of Labour myself who confirmed they are waiting for a form (2.7) to be submitted and those documents have been sent to Melanie a very long time ago. I am heartbroken that during such tragic times there are companies out there doing this to people with good intentions. Shame on you! Based on all your good reviews I guess when claims get complicated or reach a certain time period you are no longer interested. Bias is what you call this!
What a horrible experience. I have been a loyal Virgin Active member since 2010. My husband wanted to join in August 2018, but then they said no he can't because he was handed over to MBD for R1200 that wasn't paid back in 2008. At that time het was younger than 18 years old, and now 10 years later they are still keeping him responsible for that money. How is that even possible...? He wasn't even suppose to be a principal member he was still in High school. We agreed to settle the amount, but MBD can't even find my husband on their system???? So we cannot make the payment because we have no reference number. Ridiculously a month later, after numerous phone calls to Virgin Active and MBD they still cannot help us, now they are asking for his Dad's ID number because maybe they will find him on the system that way... A month later!!! Really? It's like they are running out of excuses. Obviously one membership less doesn't bother Virgin Active at all. Pathetic customer service from Virgin Active and MBD!!!
I took out a cellphone contract with a service provider that uses RAM hand to hand for delivery... what a nightmare!! The delivery guy came for a timeous delivery but as I am not working at the front desk and I need to be contacted to come for collection (takes 30 sec) he refused to wait said he will return, and he never did!!! He told RAM it's the wrong adress and such nonsense!! Now just to get hold of the right people at RAM is a story of it's own, every time they put me through to a different person... when they call me as soon as I answer they drop the call (happened 3 times) and now delivery will only be made tomorrow or next week because of one guys attitude! Realy unexceptable!!
<p>Discovery issued me with a new discovery credit card 4 months ago. As they do the card was timeously delivered, but the provided pin for the card did not work, I informed the call center and they said they will make contact with me within 3 working days... long story short it did not happen I called them again to discover they NEVER changed my cell number as requested 2 years ago... again I was told 3 working days.... nothing.... called them and this time they said they called me 3 times and I did not answer??? ALL LIES! I was specifically waiting for their call and no one called me... again I was told 3 days...nothing....I called them and the agent apologized and said it was their mistake she does not know why but even their records showed no one has given attention to the latest request yet...I was promised that she will personally call me the next morning before 9... I AM STILL WAITING????? I got this card in Feb wake up discovery it is almost July......</p>
Me and my fiance went on a trip to Cape Town earlier this month, we stayed at the Urban chic boutique hotel in long street, what a experience!! We had a great time, they realy went the extra mile, and the food was amazing! Their parking is limited but they always made a plan for us to park in a safe place as we had a rental car. Thank you to the great team of this hotel!
