I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the ongoing mishandling of a dispute related to the payment history on my Telkom account, which continues to be inaccurately reflected on my credit report. This matter has persisted for over a year despite my consistent efforts to resolve it. I have submitted all required supporting documentation multiple times, and yet I have received no meaningful response or resolution from Experian. Most recently, I lodged a formal dispute and received only an automated message stating that a reference number would be provided within 48 hours. It has now been over a week, and I am still waiting for that reference number and any follow-up communication. This lack of response is deeply concerning and unacceptable, particularly considering that the same issue was successfully resolved with TransUnion and XDS in July 2024. Experian’s inaction is not only delaying the correction of inaccurate information but is also directly affecting my creditworthiness and limiting my financial freedom.
I am writing to formally dispute the significant discrepancy in my credit score. My Experian score is 607, while my TransUnion score is 731 and XDS score is 711. This is highly concerning, as I have maintained consistent payments since September 2023. I app**** for a loan, and my score dropped 31 points, which I understand can happen. However, after settling the loan within a month, my score has not recovered at all. In fact, my score was higher last year (680) when I used CreditExpert before it was discontinued. It is unreasonable that my credit score is now classified as below average, despite responsible financial behavior. I have also observed that individuals with worse payment histories have significantly higher scores, raising concerns about the fairness and transparency of your scoring model. This situation suggests potential bias or unfair reporting practices. I request an urgent review of my credit report, an explanation of this inconsistency, and confirmation that my loan settlement has been correctly reflected.
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the sudden and unexplained drop in my credit score as reflected in my Experian report. Despite consistently managing my accounts responsibly, my score dropped by 8 points recently, without any clear reason or changes on my part. For context: Last month, my score was 624 and increased slightly to 627 in the 20th of Octomber. Just today, it dropped to 619. I have made no new credit enquiries or any application. My account utilization is consistently below 10%, and all payments are up to date. Comparatively, my scores with TransUnion (706) and XDS (749) are significantly higher, with all of my accounts in good standing across all bureaus. Given that I have put considerable effort into maintaining an excellent credit profile, I find this drop in score frustrating and concerning, especially as I have not made any financial missteps or changes that would warrant such a drop. I request an immediate review and detailed explanation of why my credit score dropped by 8 points despite maintaining responsible financial behavior. Furthermore, I would appreciate clarity on how your scoring system is app**** in my case and what factors could have contributed to this sudden drop.
I am writing to express my deep frustration with the handling of my recent dispute regarding an arrears account on my credit report. Despite my efforts to resolve this matter, Experian has failed to provide any meaningful feedback or progress. It is extremely disheartening to see that my hard work to improve my credit standing is being jeopardized by this unresolved issue. Other credit bureaus, such as TransUnion and XDS, were able to address and resolve the same issue within a single day. Unfortunately, Experian has closed my dispute without fully investigating or resolving all the concerns I raised, and this is having a significant impact on my credit score and financial future. This is not just a credit report; this is my life that you are impacting. I have worked tirelessly to manage my credit responsibly, but your lack of action is seriously damaging my efforts. I request that you reopen the dispute and conduct a thorough investigation to ensure this matter is resolved appropriately. I trust you understand the importance of resolving this issue promptly. I look forward to your swift action and a satisfactory resolution.
I lodged a dispute to have the Telkom account closed after it appeared on my profile, which Experian successfully addressed. However, they failed to update the arrears status. I’ve sent an email but have not received any response or feedback. In that email, I attached previous credit reports showing that the account was not listed, and for it to suddenly appear in June with 6 months of arrears doesn't make sense, as there was no record of it from January to May. Please rectify this error, as it has negatively impacted my credit score after all the effort I’ve put into maintaining it. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated
I lodged a dispute regarding the account showing arrears despite being paid up and closed. The dispute was resolved in my favor, and the account is now marked as closed. However, it still reflects as being in arrears for June. Could you please correct this? The dispute number is CS20240726-CD311268.
I had a telkom account that was listed as default, the account has been paid and closed up. I tried to lodge a dispute and also send an email with reference EXPERIAN-608226. can you please update the account. I will really appreciate it.
I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the inaccurate payment history on my ABSA credit card account, which has not been updated despite the successful debt review removal with reference number EZM231018000005. The current record incorrectly shows arrears in 2020, significantly impacting my ability to access credit. Prompt resolution of this issue is essential as it is hindering my financial activities and causing undue inconvenience. I urgently request Experian's immediate attention to rectify the payment history on my credit card account to accurately reflect the resolved status. Your prompt action on this matter is greatly appreciated.
Dear Discovery Team I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent credit limit offers I have received and to request reconsideration for a higher credit limit. Initially, I was granted a credit limit of R86000, which I later requested to be increased to R100000 to align with my financial goals and maintain a lower utilization rate. Unfortunately, the dispute process yielded an offer of only R15000, followed by a further reduction to R10000, both of which were provided without explanation or opportunity for discussion. However, due to my plans to transition my banking services from FNB to Discovery for their Black suite, I am now reconsidering my options, at the same time FNB is offering me higher limit and I option not to take it due to the plan to want to move, because of your agent calling and selling your product and I became interested in a change. But as we speak, I’m not happy with how things are going. One of my primary reasons for seeking a higher credit limit is to actively improve my credit score. I have articulated this goal to your representatives, as I am preparing to purchase a house in the coming months. A higher credit score will enable me to secure the lowest possible interest rate on a mortgage and achieve my homeownership aspirations. I am deeply concerned about the impact that the current credit limit offer will have on both my credit utilization. The offered limit does not align with my financial needs or justify the higher rates that would result from this disparity. Therefore, I kindly request a thorough review of my credit offer, with consideration for an increase that accurately reflects my affordability and the black card your offer which has higher monthly fee. Should the offer remain unchanged or if further reductions are proposed, I will have no choice but to interpret this as a lack of value for me as a potential new client. It is disheartening to encounter such treatment during the application process, especially given the importance of effective communication and support. I urge you to prioritize this matter and provide a resolution that aligns with my financial goals and expectations. I eagerly anticipate a positive outcome and the opportunity to continue our mutually beneficial relationship. I even asked for Gold credit card where I was told my salary doesn’t fall in that range which isn’t fair to pay R235 monthly to R10000 credit card. My net salary is R 555000 - Expense of R<15000 I have been saving R30000 monthly for the past several months. So, I don’t understand why I will be treated as someone who is in trouble financial.
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to the entire Experian team for the prompt and efficient resolution of my dispute. Your dedication and professionalism in handling the matter were truly commendable. Having my dispute resolved promptly not only alleviated my concerns but also restored my confidence in your services. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction have not gone unnoticed, and I am genuinely grateful for your efforts. Thank you once again for your exceptional service and for going above and beyond to ensure a positive outcome. Your expertise and dedication are truly appreciated.
