Terrible service. After booking a table in advance for a large group of people for a function, I get called by them saying that my reservation is cancelled because they realised there's a rugby game on the same day as my booking. My function had nothing to do with the rugby, yet had to be cancelled to make space for other customers... Unprofessional and unreliable. Thank you for the last minute inconvenience, we will gladly take our business elsewhere.
It started when they called me in August, shortly after signing up with them through my insurance, about this "exclusive" service they have to add to my account called Netstar GO. After telling me the benefits, I opted to try it out. Their salesman was extremely misleading on the benefits and after trying the service and realising that they had sold me kak, I cancelled immediately (the day after signing up) and I received an email confirming the service is cancelled and I will not be debited. Should be the end of it right? Not at all, they go and debit my account in NOVEMBER, nearly 3 months later! I called as soon as I saw the debit order go off to which they apologised profusely and promised that I would get a refund. Since that, I have called, emailed, spoken to managers, supervisors, you name it, even got my insurance company to try and help with no success. I got told by them the last time I called that I must now "prove it", even after they acknowledged, confirmed, and apologised for their mistake. To date I am still waiting for my refund for a debit order that was collected illegally. Their salesmen are also downright skelm in what they're selling, in another incident, a salesman called me trying to sell me a different "exclusive service" that only "selected" clients get and after telling me throughout the whole call that the added benefit is absolutely free and at no extra cost to me, the guy tries to add a debit order to my account and when I called him out on it, his attitude became rude and unpleasant. Makes me wonder how many clients they have done this to and succeeded. The morals and ethics that their company is run on and the attitude and training of their staff is absolutely appalling, and I do hope First For Women relooks at who they partner up with.
I was trying to get medical aid for myself and getting answers to queries I had about the plan I was interested in is terribly slow. I still have not received a reply and have lost interest in Discovery due to this lack of response. This company needs to work on their response time and show actual interest in their potential clients.
