I booked a car online for my son to drive us from the airport to our accommodation, which was paid for online as well. He had to leave his credit card with his wife who had to stay at home due to her work, so my name was on the credit card and I paid the amount. I am a pensioner, but in any case, I had to have someone driving me, as I have a medical condition and cannot drive at all. My son therefore didn't have the credit card which they wanted, but I was paying everything anyway. Woodfords refused to let us have the car under any condition, and so we left. They said that as we booked through CarTrawler ( who could see that the driver's name was not the same as the person paying by credit card but they allowed us to book anyway, online), we must get a refund from CarTrawler. With that we left and hired a car very easily with Thrifty. Just an additonal paper to sign and all was well. I have sent a message to CarTrawler asking for a refund as promised by the gentleman behind the counter in Durban airport, and I've not heard a word from them so far. I have sent another message and am now awaiting for a reply and a reimbursement.<br> Thanks.
