If I could give this company a 0 star I would. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They are a ****. My mom ordered shoes from them, they were not correct and very flimsy especially when advertised for people with bad feet. They now want us to send the shoes to china to get a refund. THIS IS UTTERLY DISGUSTING. They ***** people's money right from under their noses.
I had to give a 1-star rating as there is no option for a 0-star rating. DO NOT EVER buy from this store. I placed an order 4 weeks ago. The first week went by and I received nothing, so I called. I got an excuse that the supplier had not delivered the books I requested but I will get my order by Friday or the following Monday. So now we are in the second week, Monday goes by no order has been delivered so I call again, I was given the exact same response as the week before. By now we are in the third week. I call again. I get the EXACT same response. During that week I got sick and had no voice so I had a friend call on my behalf. He had said to them on Wednesday if I am not mistaken that this feels like a **** and maybe we need to get police involved. Ten minutes later they so called and had my order ready to be sent. We were told the following week Monday I would have my order. Now in the fourth week, I called on Monday and was told, no they had not sent my order out for delivery as the courier company will only collect it at 4 o'clock that afternoon. By now I am fuming, they guaranteed me that I would have my order on Wednesday (today). Still, nothing had arrived, so I called again, I was given a tracking number and so I called the courier company and they told me the parcel was still sitting with the supplier. I have now called back for a refund. This company is not capable of dealing with the public nor do they have any consideration of urgency. They constantly lie and at this point, they are just ****ming people of their money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. This bookstore is pathetic.
I am extremely disappointed with the service that I have received. Not only that but I would not recommend ANYONE open up a Cotton On account. When requesting a settlement a amount that amount is only valid for 5 days and then they increase the amount. I had R30 left to pay on my account and in two weeks the amount went up to R134.64. Every 5 days they put on interest. I have never in my life heard of this. I understand that you will be charged a monthly interest rate as you do every where but every 5 days???? Also please be aware they charge you R30 per month to keep your account open even if you not using it. Also when dealing with customer services you get told different things every time you call in and to top it off the lady who "helped" me last hung up on me. I have requested many times as well to close my account, and I will not be paying any more to Cotton On. When asking to close my account I had one person say by this weekend it will be closed and then another person telling me only after 36 days and then another telling me my settlement amount has not yet reflected therefore no request can be put in???? So I am not sure what kind of training Cotton On puts their employees through but clearly not the same training. I feel Cotton On robs their customers blind. It is disgusting. Don't bother trying to contact management as they NEVER call back. The customer service is completely useless. As someone who always bought at Cotton On , Typo and Factory I will NEVER support this company again.
