We have been a reseller for Tarsus for many years, but since we lost our fantastic account manager in 2019, it all went down hill fast. Quote requests are left unanswered for days, where we have to follow up multiple times. Usually if we don't involve the sales manager, things do not get resolved. We had an incident where we waited an entire year for a Dell server to be delivered, with ETA being pushed out every month. Tarsus made us pay it in full before they order and we couldn't get the order cancelled or the money back. Needless to say the customer was not happy. Whenever we request a specific spec notebook, we always get 10 random quotes and not the spec requested. It's a continuous back and forth. They have automated emails that go out during the order process, instead of a human mailing us with an update. These automated mails also don't go to the correct person that was requesting the quote. Just a bad experience overall. We deal with most of the disti's in SA, so we know what good customer service is, and Tarsus is not it.
One of our customers started having issues with his website/ FTP access after Webafrica did maintenance on their shared services servers.
We logged the ticket 6 August 2015, and the issue has not been resolved since.
I have phoned more than 2 times to try and speak to a support agent, but the calls were NEVER answered by a human.
I have sent update requests via email to their helpdesk every single day without feedback.
They keep sending automated mails to ask if the issue has been resolved, and when I reply and say no, there is no response.
I have posted my issue on their Facebook page as well, hoping that someone will pick it up, but to no avail.
If someone from Webafrica is listening, my case number is: 2697557

Your service has always been extremely poor, and you are the worst ISP in SA. We deal with IS, Afrihost, Mweb, Telkom, Neotel, and you are by far the worst, most inefficient ISP in the country, and you should be shut down if you are unwilling to get on par with the rest of the industry.
