The worst and most unfriendly Service Manager I encountered. Was there to replace my battery under the extended maintenance plan which cost us allot to be told that because I have a winch on my bakkie that they are not going to claim under the plan. Bakkie was bought brand new in 2020, all the aftermarket extras were fitted by VW and the battery life is now 5 years which is in any case more that its lifespan to tell me the winch damaged the battery. When some apprentice member and not even qualified technician tested it and confirmed that he cannot find fault or that the winch is draining the battery but assumed because the winch is connected that it must be that. Took my car to VW Hatfield and what a total 360 turn in service delivery. Was greeted very friendly by all the staff. We explained the situation, booked in my car and 5 hours later phoned me to tell me my car is finished and ready. Tested it and the battery life has passed, and it is not the winch. I will never go back to Wonderboom branch and now only go to Hatfield, Kudos to Hatfield branch where I will be referring all my family and friends.
Very professional, no hassles. Pick up and delivery went smooth. Deposit paid back with no issues.
Please refer to Odette from Flight Center Kollonade. Our flight was booked to leave RSA to Cairo on Wednesday evening at 21:45. We were obviously at the airport at 18:00 to ensure all went smoothly. Flight was delayed and we boarded the plane only after 23:30 and missed our connecting flight in Cairo to El Shaim which was suppose to leave at 5:35am and we only arrived at 8:00am in Cairo so the airport arranged new transfer flight only at 10:30. We advised her around 8;00 am regarding same and she said she will sort it out. Now we received an invoice of 52$ for now show from the transport company as we did not inform them timeously. So my question is when between 23:30pm and 8am while 35000 feet in the air with no signal were we suppose to advise flight center that the flight was delayed. For the money we pay you guys I truly belief flight center was supposed to have kept themself updated and keep track of their clients. Not one of us are on roaming and used the airport wifi as soon as we have landed. Now she just send us a copy of the terms and conditions and tell us very rudely if we do not pay the fee they will not be taking us back to the airport next week Thursday. So you leave us in Egypt to arrange our own transport now and again emphasizing we paid you in full more than 2 months ago as you begged us to make your monthly target, so thanks for letting us be inconvenienced for 52$ after everything was not our fault in any way and now we must apparently pay the amount and claim it back from our insurance company. The way you handled this situation is very unprofessional and cold while we are 8000km from home. We travel allot as Gugu helped us last year also in October to Disney World in Orlando from the same branch and I must tell you the experience now is actually humiliating towards him and his efforts he displayed last year. She can learn from him. We will definitely rethink when we plan our next trip to use flight center kollonade. Are you not insured for unexpected issues like this or everything the clients problem??? You can pay the 52$ to rectify the situation.
I just want to thank Luis and Lee for getting my beast of a bmw. The way Luis operated as the owner of the dealership to source my car was beyond expectation.
