I am in a process of a claim for a lapa that fell because of heavy storm and winds on Monday in Bloemfontein. The overall cost to replace if R28k. Today, they just indicated that the claim is rejected because the pole was rotten, according to their Service Provider report. Since the pole was rotten underground, not above, I am insisting that they base their decision on a lapa maintenance standard that indicates that the owner must dig underground to check if the poles are rotten because the maintenance we have been carrying out is on the accessible features of the lapa. I need fight this before it is too late because this is just a lousy excuse of saving towards Christmas bonuses. There might be additional implications to this claim because the lapa has touched the neighbour's electric fence.
My spouse's (married in community of property) car finance transaction approved without my consent, and I was not party to it because I knew that he did not qualify. He is now off employment as the contract has expired. This causes a burden to the entire family psychologically and economically. I need to follow process to get the transaction nullified so as to safe him and make the dealership review their ethics policy if it does not well capture this kind of practice.
