I'm the Tech support at home.<br> 1: 3 hours in store to upgrade contract.<br> 2: Settle for the wrong handset, due to stock.<br> 3: Sim swap not active next morning... Que call center.<br> 4: refuse to speak to me, as I am not account holder.<br> 5: 32 minutes on hold to get 'Permission' for me to help.<br> 6: I called my dad 2x while on hold!, MTN was not calling him.<br> 7: told I have to go back into store to do sim swap. (WHAT?)<br> 8: I ask MTN to send courier to collect their handset, and cancel new contract.<br> 9: semi threatening voice, I can't do that. uh... yes I can.<br> 10: issue is 'Escalated' to migrations department.<br> 11: few hours pass, call back into call center. told to wait the full 24 hours..... less than 1 hour to go.<br> 12: call back into call center, follow FAR TOO MANY prompts to key in information, only to be asked again by the agent.<br> 13: oh, sorry this is the wrong department.<br> 14: call new number. same F** prompts. key in info, hold for a few minutes, voice prompt : \ Sorry
