This has to be the worst ISP ever. Their prices are reasonable and connectivity, top notch, but when it comes to their billing, statements and keeping up with accounts, they are shocking!!! Absolutely shocking. You will end up "owing" them millions because they have mis-allocated your payments and can't keep up with references. And good luck getting in touch with their call centre, WhatsAPP or online services. There no record of your correspondence with them. It is a pity that their connection and prices are so good. Perhaps if they charged a bit more, they could afford to get their ducks in a row in terms of their billing and invoicing services!
If you thought that nothing could be more frustrating and more inconvenient than loadshedding, than you have not dealt with Vodacom Online Sales! The most unprofessional and frustrating process I have ever been through. I was sent from pillar to post made numerous calls to the call centre and got nowhere with the order. Then the automated call centre blocked my number from getting through to a consultant because 'there were too many calls received from the number.' The only reason for this was that I had called and received no assistance. Sent through the required documents over five times, to five different email addresses that they gave me and still was told that there were 'documents' pending. Then I was told that I would be assisted by a Nomfundo Zungu. Worst than the pointless automated services, she was tardy, unprofessional and downright ***********. Please spare yourself the hassle and place a contract online order elsewhere.
Really bad experience. From misinformation to extra long holding times to unreliable information from the consultants. I would not recommend this service provider. I got different responses about the status of my order each time I called. The consultants always promised to call me back but never did. On each call, I was placated and told that I would be connected, only to find that this will not be the case and when I call to follow up, I was told that what I was told by the previous consultant was false and that I another process needs to be underway. Really disappointing experience. and no sense of urgency in terms of getting you connected.
