After having a brand new piece of luggage damaged by an airline, Louis Datnow Luggage is the company contracted to either repair or replace the bag. I went through all the correct channels, and had my bag collected a week after my flight, it was determined that the bag could not be repaired but rather should be replaced. This brand is readily available in South Africa, however as it was not black but rather bright orange (A feature which I paid extra for owing to frequency of travel, and the desire to have easily recognisable luggage) It was slightly more difficult to find the exact bag. I was willing to compromise and said that I would be happy with the same bag, in any colour other then black. Instead of getting on with it, and finding the easiest solution, Jeff at Louis Datnow Luggage made up some story about driving to various outlets around Gauteng to check on stock, instead of just picking up the phone. The bag is also available for order online in South Africa, which I mentioned several times, but I am still without a replacement.He blatantly lied and stated the bag would be ready last week, and when I called to collect I was told that they did not have it.Such poor service
