I'd like to commend Pro Auto Rubber for their exceptional service. I went to their Boksburg shop to purchase some carpeting and rubber seals and on entering the shop I realised I left home without my wallet. They still assisted me and we made a plan with the payment. Their service is friendly, professional and they certainly went the extra mile helping me the way they did. Thank you
I have received mails recently from my banker at ABSA that I needed to provide documentation for FICA purposes, however the mail never stated what is required and how I go about providing the required information. I replied to the mail every time asking what is required and how I was to provide this info. No response. A month later, the same warning mail that my account functionalities would be blocked if I don't respond to the mail. I did respond, again asking what I was to do. Again, no response...Today, I tried to make an online payment and I could not. Calling the Online support help center I was advised that there is a restriction on my account due to FICA requirements. I tried getting this resolved and was then told my banker is the only person that can assist. I was provided a different phone number than the one I had but that rang and eventually went to voice mail but stating that the mail box is full. So now I am stuck, only 1 person at ABSA can assist and that person is not available and has no means of receiving a message, via phone or email (or does not respond). This is really terrible service.
I have received an initial SMS about 3 months ago and was blocked from transacting (making payments online) the next day. I called in and the problem was rectified so that I could make payments. I went to the branch to hand deliver the required documents and I was assured that it was processed and that all was now in order.<br> Then on the 4th of January 2016 my ABSA relationship manager calls me to tell me that I have to FICA or my account would be blocked from transacting (making payments online). I called back and it was agreed that i could just mail the documents which I promptly did the next day.<br> Today I tried to make payments online again and guess what, yes I cannot again.<br> This is ridiculous. I understand the need for FICA but not again and again and then I have my account blocked even though I have produced the paperwork required twice.<br> I am very disappointed and after having been with ABSA for over 25 years (business and personal accounts) I think it is time to move to a bank that values its customers.
