I recently visited the MTN branch at Gateway Mall in Durban looking for uncapped internet options for my home. I came across an option and decided on it and thereafter proceeded to inform the consultant available about the option I wanted, which was around 18:00, bearing in mind the store closes at 19:00. I provided the required documents, she proceeded to check on network coverage within my area which there was and managed to get the router I was looking for. She explain payment details and explained how the first months payment would be and I paid for the same with my card in the store. After standing there waiting for her to process 45 minutes later, she informs me that the system was done and that the router was not processed. I don’t understand how we had to pay for something which was not processed yet and proceeded to refund me in cash. I then asked her to call for her manager which then she informed me that her manager is busy so she cannot come. The manager of the store is Sithembile Mngomezulu. Which manager is ‘’ too’’ busy to attend to a concerned customer? The manager then proceeded to come out in front, did not attend to me after the consultant mentioned something to her in and went back inside with the consultant. Once she was ready, she came out to the front and mentioned that she was never asked to come out until she eventually came which is not what I was told by the consultant which shows me that both these employees were being untruthful. Both employees had extremely poor attitude throughout the encounter and were unhelpful which made the process more difficult. This resulted in me having to visit another network provider to get internet for my home as I was extremely unhappy with the services I had received at MTN Gateway Mall. I look forward to some positive feedback to prevent future customers from experiencing such poor customer service.
Absolutely pathetic. Incompetent staff. Had to wait 45 minutes for breakfast to be served and I ended up leaving with no refund which is not the first time. Manager refused to come forward and sent the trainee manager which was off no help at all. The worst "takeaway" in Springfield Park.
My children who attend Centenary Secondary currently in grade 8 came home with a school project where the child has to make a Pandora box. A week before the assignment I arranged the material that is required to make the box. One of my children used an old box that was lying in the house as her Pandora box (this box had been bought years back). After the box was made and it was time to hand it over the teacher did not accept the box that was made however she accepted the box that was bought. The teacher then gave a period of time to which the box needs to be to her standard. The box was then painted and she marked by child 12/50. I have been at the school from 7:15 to speak to the principal about this matter, I have 3 meetings to attend to and I still haven't been attended to by anyone at this school. The secretary has informed one of the teachers but no one is giving me feedback on what time the principal may arrive or give me a time for when I can come again. It is now 8:45 and I am still waiting. This is really frustrating. Service from this school is pathetic.
