A nasty old con man. Do not trust his little old man act. Avoid! He ran off with our deposit!

Been trying to cancel data contract since December 2015!
On 7 December 2015 I submitted a copy of my identity document as requested and a copy of the cancellation request form in an attempt to cancel my data contract. To date all I have received are numerous telephone calls on my new mobile number advising me that I am due for an upgrade on this data contract. I DO NOT want to upgrade. I want to cancel with immediate effect. The required 1 months written notice has thus been complied with commencing from 7 December 2015 and yet almost 6 months later I sit with a contract that I no longer need or want. I have attempted to resolve this issue in store, on the phone and via email to no avail! There is no one to talk to to follow up, you cannot speak to anyone in the cancellation department. Next I'm lodging a complaint with the consumer protection board!
