I reached out to Angelique after many complaints of not arriving for weddings and dropping clients last minute. One of the problems I assisted with was with a contract. I shared my contract with her and said she could use it. I never knew that she was going to post my contract on the world wide web for all to see. She even used the about me section. I don't know how she thought that that would be ok considering that I spoke about myself and my experience as a makeup artist over 22 years. I asked her to remove my contract from her Facebook business page and she then became abusive. I blocked her she contacted me from another number to apologize for being rude but she refuses to remove my contract from her page. I gave her a couple of weeks to remove the contract and even said that I don't mind her using it in her private capacity but I do not want it displayed on social media. After seeing another complaint of her today ignoring clients I looked and saw that it is still on her Facebook page. I also warned her that I would post about this on Hello Peter she still refuses to remove it.
I was booked fr a wedding on 21 June 2021. I was informed by Two Balloons & a Van on 14 June 2021 that the wedding was cancelled due to 10 guests having covid. I was then asked to postpone the wedding to 30 September 2021 which I did even though my contract stated that if a wedding is cancelled a week before the event they would need to pay me in full. I felt sorry for the Bride and honoured my booking for 30 September only to hear that the wedding did take place on 21 June 2021. Now the implications of this are huge. I kept 2 dates for one bride and lost income on 21 June as I had turned other clients away. I also got booked by a salon for 30 September for a job the payment was R7500 which I could obviously not accept due to the postponement of the wedding. I reached out to Two Balloons and was replied to rather rudely. I tried to communicate further via their Facebook page to find out why they had lied to me and was told to leave her alone and that I was unprofessional. The wedding industry along with the entertainment industry was hit the hardest by C19 and I find it difficult that vendors in the same industry can be part of lies and disrespectful. I tried to sort out the problem privately to no avail.
Rene Marais is using my image of makeup that I have done for an advert for botox. I reached out to her via messenger on Facebook and she did not respond, I then posted on Facebook about the situation and tagged her to which she responded "Renwe Marais Nee dit is nie make up nie iemand het die foto vir my gestuur en ek het nie geweet dit behoort aan jou nie adv gaan oor Botox" she refuses to delete my image. I have on a voice note as well as on WhatsApp where she also admitted that she took the photo without consent but still refuses to remove the image. This is fraud and false advertising.
I left this review on there FB Page and someone reported it & managed to get the review removed. How is it possible that there is so much corruption and one cannot voice your opinion or warn others of it. A case was made at the police station. May 2017 my Dad's car was stolen at Blue Valley Mall in broad daylight. Yesterday whilst shopping at Pep Stores in the mall they robbed them in broad daylight. My Dad had no idea the shop was being robbed he sat right at the back trying on shoes. Another customer walked up to him to say the shop is being robbed and that she was told to go to the back of the store, they had already locked the employers in a back room.
