Poor Quality and no servicing option

REVIEW OF TAURUS ICE CREAM MAKER LCD DISPLAY STAINLESS STEEL BRUSHED 1.2L 135W "CASA GELAT" Product # 969135 Product barely lasts 3 years and there is no option for repairing in South Africa. I was given this machine in March 2021 as a present and in 2023 it stopped working. I contacted the company that supports them in South Africa (CHWSA) early March, they told me that they do not re-gas them, but I could take it in for them to look at. I dropped the machine off on the 26th of March in Parow. I then followed up on the 23rd of April, the 30th of April and then on the 6th of May, at which point they got back to me and told me that it is out of warranty, and I could purchase a new one at a discounted price (More than what was originally paid). I was never told what was wrong with the machine (So I assume it needed to be re-gassed), but if you want a quality product that lasts DO NOT get this machine as it cannot be fixed and only barely lasts 3 years if that.
