My email platform of choice for many of my accounts for 5 years, GraphicMail has migrated to SharpSpring - 'the next generation of email marketing'. After months of hype, a delayed launch and the offer of one training seminar, my email sending was forced onto a new unrecognisalbe platform.

1) My data HAS NOT BEEN MIGRATED in the new platform - only my email addresses. The response from Logan at the helpdesk was that i 'must have been using it wrong in Graphicmail' and would need to export and import my 20 lists myself. He was 'certainly not doing it for me'. The old platform will be shut down in a month by which time I have to migrate all lists, otherwise years of collecting customer details lost in one month. I pity any customers who aren't sending regular emails - get hold of your data now!

2) There is no option to send to multiple lists and the supposed 'tagging' system to enable lists to be sent to together doesn't work in Chrome

3) After 2 hours dealing with these issues I sent my email just before 11am on a Friday. IT WAS DELIVERED TO ABOUT 10,000 contacts AT 5pm ON A FRIDAY. I was told on sending that I didn't meet there sender credentials (despite being well within their bounce rate thresholds) and my emails would be delayed by up to two hours. When I called after 3 hours I was told the emails would be released immediately. Although the report showed delivered from 2pm, the replies / out of office notifications etc started coming through AFTER THE END OF THE WORKING WEEK!

4) No reports from the old system are transferred across so soon it will be impossible to compare the appalling performance of Sharpspring with the old platform (not that you can believe the Sharpspring reports on delivered status at least).

5) There is no SMS ****ion in ShaprSpring and I have credit in my GraphicMail SMS accounts

I expect to be able to trust the platform I entrust my customer data with 100% and based on my initial experience with SharpSpring I can't do so. I will be looking for an alternative. Considering I will be working to migrate my own data, I may as well migrate it to a proven platform .
