They give you all the vouchers but it's never available to redeem. And you end up always not being able to use the vouchers. I have been trying for longer than a month and there is never availability but you are able to book without the vouchers doesn't make sense at all.

I am very disappointed with prokard service. I signed up with the company, but I never used their services. Despite this, they have refused to refund my money, even after multiple attempts to resolve the matter. I believe this is unfair, as I did not receive any value for the payment I made. Prokard’s refusal to refund me demonstrates poor customer service and a lack of accountability. I am sharing my experience to caution others and hope this encourages the company to improve its practices

I signed up for membership and everytime l request to use it, hotels are not available for us to redeem vouchers. Requested a refund, a full month of emails and reminders sent - all they say is that management has the issue and it will be resolved soon.

I am writing to express my significant dissatisfaction with my experience as a Prokard member. Over the past nine months, I have been unable to utilize the vouchers provided to me as part of my membership, which has been extremely frustrating. Despite my repeated attempts to book at various Prokard-selected hotels, there has consistently been a lack of availability, making it impossible to redeem my vouchers. This ongoing issue leaves me feeling misled and disappointed, as it contradicts the benefits advertised to me upon joining. With my vouchers set to expire in January 2025, I now fear that I will not get the value promised, and this experience has begun to feel like a complete ****. To top it all, I received no response to an email sent to the Prokard division a few days ago. Steven

I am sharing for those who are considering a Prokard membership, at a glance it is appealing. however the vouchers are worthless, I tried booking at different provinces at odd times off peak and peak and no luck, bookings are always not available. I currently made a online booking in Walvis Bay paid cash as the vouchers are not accepted(mind you I have 5 vouchers all expiring in February 2025) and I still don't qualify for the discount as per the T&C of the membership. I was not able to use my 2024 vouchers that were expiring in Feb this year unless I renewed my membership, after renewal I still was told that my vouchers has expired after making a fuss the vouchers were extended to June 2024. I think same going to happen again however I don't plan to renew, booking directly with the hotels is still cheaper than using the membership vouchers. So Prokard if you are promoting something when a client is paying please do it honestly. I also would like to know what happens to all my unused vouchers, seeing that I was not able to use my vouchers to make any bookings.

Please note that we could not check in on Protea Hotel Karridene, we used my husband's prokard to book with our vouchers. When we arrived from Gauteng we were told our booking has been allocated to another person who checked in before us. We opened our profile and it was showing somebody else's name we do not know. we were booked once again on the hotel and we paid for the accommodation. On the day that we checked out our profile had been corrected but today our profile is back to the same person and upcoming bookings allocated to a stranger. We suspect a *****ulent activity taking place at reservations. Popi ACT has been violated because somebody else name is showing on our profile. This needs to be corrected as this is a pure violation of our rights by Prokard.

Id like to start by saying that i have been a Marriott member for over a decade and joined prokard for a few years on and off. As it stands, this membership is actually worthless and holds no value add. To all consumers, dont waste your money on this product. My reasoning is for the sole reason, that they offer you vouchers to make use of during the year, but sadly, you can never get a booking using their online platform. It doesnt show and potential available dates for an establishment. What they dont tell you, is that there is a very limited allocation given to hotels to honor these and once snatched up by anyone else, others dont get the opportunity to make use of their vouchers and it becomes futile trying multiple dates to no avail. Im at the stage where its a waste of money spent with no real use. I had even emailed them to get answers and help and its been about 2 weeks, with not a single call or acknowledgment of my email. In short, dont waste your money for something you cant use.
