Property 71 is by far the WORST AGENCY EVER!!!- DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I have had the worst experiences with this agency!!!! I rented an apartment of owner Frank Maubert who evicted me from his apartment without reason giving me a “two months notice” and when I moved, I NEVER GOT MY FULL DEPOSIT BAC**** I was told to stay another month because they hadn’t found a tenant to replace me. I was summoned to a stop order for rent while living in a filthy apartment with ****roaches and leaking ceilings, not once did they ever attend to my queries until they evicted me. When I moved out the stop order went off my account after I had moved and I wasn’t refunded my rent for that month, neither did I get my deposit back. I had been liasing back and fourth with the owner of property 71 Eshara Lorick who is claimed to be well renouned for her outstanding work as a real estate agent but knows absolutely nothing about complying with property law, their ethics are downright disgusting. I am disgruntled not too mention experiencing feelings of being treated as though i have no rights. Luvana and the rest of the girls working in that office have no manner of approach, respect or manners, none whatsoever!!! I was evicted and given a billion excuses when it was time to get my deposit back. Eshara was reluctant to liaise with the owner to get my deposit back as the owner had blocked my number after evicting me. Eshara has no business ethics herself, ignoring client phone calls and asking her admin girls to lie about her availability to take calls or attend to queries. No one in that office seems to know how to behave or speak in a professional manner. Besides their unprofessionalism they rob you for every cent you have. When I moved out of the flat I rented through them they made sure they took almost all of my deposit for costs that I am still awaiting to see!!! DO NOT USE THIS DISGUSTING AGENCY!!!!!!

Property 71 is by far the worst agency out there. They have no form of business ethics. For a family run business their organisation is a sinking ship. The girls that work in the office have no way of speaking. Most unprofessional business i have ever come across. As for the owner Eshara Lorrick i am not sure if she has any business ethics herself, screaming comments or her point of view in the backround whilst you are on the phone with one of her admin girls. Noone in that office seems to know how to behave or speak in a professional manner. Besides their unprofessionalism they rob you for every cent you have. When my parents and I moved out of the flat we rented through them they made sure they took almost all of my deposit for costs that I am still awaiting to see!!! They also took ages to pay my deposit. So please beware when deciding to use them!

<p>Expect shoddy, sloppy and shocking maintenance work. Example of one, a basin replacement, where the basin is recessed so far back into the wall (and now broken tiles), that you are unable to even turn the tap, you have to chissel away at the wall to get your fingers around the tap head to turn it. I wish I could share a photograph of the maintenance work arranged, 'supervised' and approved by these agents, because a picture paints a thousand words. Completely unsighlty and totally impractical. Even a simple task like *****ing in a hinge is done in the most slapdash and amatuerish manner, and not for free I might add. I am incredibly unhappy with the standard of their service and incredibly happy to never have to deal with them ever again. I now understand from the locals that my experience of their service is by no means an isolated or unique one, but the status quo, particularly in the absence of owners who are far from their properties. Be warned. </p>

<p>On behalf of my mum i have been liasing back and fourth with the owner Eshara Lorick who is claimed to be well renouned for her outstanding work as a real estate agent. She is doing well financialy yes, but with complying with property law and keeping admin up to date is pathetic, and their ethics are disgusting. Yes i am disgruntled not too mention experiencing feelings of being treated as though i have no rights. My mum was a tenant who had been dealing with Esharas staff who are her family members (2 daughters, son and husband) i do not disagree with having family in the business but with what was happening i feel they were not doing their job correctly and my mother had suffered from stress because of this. my mum had paid a deposit of R2020 for connection of lights, she been comlaining about the electricity bill for weeks untl one day i decided to check it out. the ex tentant had left the bill in arreas with an amount of plus minus R1000. this was being manually calculated and divided to her, the previous tenant and the landlords rates. one month the bill jumped from R162.93 to R1080.00 which was impossible as there are only two of them living there. I called her because my mum had ttried to communicate with the ladies at the office about it (daughters) and they did not relay the message to eshara, or so she told me, Eshara then sorted the issue and the bill dropped drastically to an amount of R200, Hows that? further to that tmy mum made note and complained to them about the dampness on the walls of the room, no room door and saftey issues, none had been dealt with except for the room door. my mother was not happy and had given notice of 2 weeks as the lease had not been signed and they did not even bother coming to see her at all to get it from her signed. Eshara promised to do the check of the property on the 31st of august and have the deposit returned there on. my mum moved out the 27th. Eshara and her team did not do the check on the 31st as promised which is highly unprofessional. resheduled th echeck for the first and was pleased there after stated sge would return the deposit, Nothing was done on the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd and today. on the 2nd i spoke to her and she advised she will put payment through and arrogantly told me shes a busy woman and had more important things to deal with. with much faith regardless of their pathetic demeanor we waited as my mother has bills to pay and not to mention the rent for the new place she moved into, she has only managed to pay her deposit. all unnecessary as the poor living conditions that they refused to sort out lead her to move. i called her this afternoon and she abruoptly tells me she really doesnt have time for my mother and i and once again tells me she is a busy woman, when i requested what is her real reason for not returning the deposit she tells me because she decided to do so. as she is providing a service i feel that that was pathetic customer service from begining to end, screaming over the phone at my mum and i not giving the other party a chance to speak making it seem as if my mum does not deserve this deposit which is rightfully hers, not to mention the interest it could have inccured, which there is non of because they did not have it in and interest bearing account. With the disgusting service and treatment from this family business i would never recommend anyone renting from them, unfortunately the property and renting is in high demand and these people know this and play on that fact.</p>
