After reading the other reviews i can see Property Legends has a VERY BAD reputation. We were shown the property in Tileba in October 2024 by Louise and she pressured us to made deposit payments ASAP as the property is well liked, my husband asked her if the owner will be selling the property etc as we were looking for a long term lease, to which she said no, the next day their was a listing on Property 24 and the house is being sold... The owner received no interest and the property was removed. Two months pass and we did not receive a municipality account as Louise (the "smartest" agent of all times) gave my email address incorrect to the office and they did not follow up with payment or anything, so the prepaid meter was block and as when we phoned them the fight began with big mouth Corne (must useless financial manager) and Charles, at the end of the day the took our deposit as settled the WHOLE municipality account (also the landlord's rates and taxes), we started to pay the rent, municipality account and repay the deposit and three months along the line we got a water account of R8000.00 (we know Tshwane does not read) so it was a estimate reading. I refused to pay and lodged a call with Tshwane to rectify and then we go a lawyers letter and a Notice to Vacate the property. Corne told me to just pay the account, to which i asked her, if we pay and the correction was made by Tshwane will her landlord credit me, and i got a blank NO. Needless to say, Tshwane rectified the account and after a huge fight the withdrew the attorneys and the Notice to Vacate. It does not end their. Two months after that we receive a WhatsApp message from Aida to ask if they can we the property as the Landlord is selling. Property Legends know NOTHING about it (according to them). The agent from Aida got instruction from the Landlord in March 2025 already, but was asked by Property Legends to only contact us end of September. They also took R 3590.00 from my deposit to pay the lawyers (without my consent) on action that they did not proceed on and now Corne is refusing to put it back into my deposit, so we gave them notice and knowing that we will not receive our deposit back we confirmed they can keep the deposit as half a months rent and for what ever repairs are needed, two days later we received a letter from the lawyers again. A complaint was lodged with the rental tribunal, the estate agency board and the law society
