Having worked in customer service, I’ve always vowed to be understanding towards customer service agents, sales reps, POS workers, and anyone in similar roles — no matter how poor the service may be. But after dealing with agents from other rental agencies and seeing how consistent and honest their communication is, I feel I have to speak up.
My experience with PropertyCoZa, and specifically with Marianne Rautenbach, has been extremely disappointing and an example of genuinely unacceptable customer service. There was no communication about the rental process, no acknowledgement of recent messages, and in the few instances where I did receive a response with a promise to get back to me, that promise was not kept.
I paid an application fee for both myself and my partner, only to end up feeling like I’ve been ****med — and to be honest, I still feel that way. To this day, I haven’t heard back from Marianne. No email, no update, nothing. Really, really poor.
