insane billing
its just sad that i even have to put a start for this service their billing is a **** how can you be billed R1400 a month for water and sewer besides electricity usage you get charged daily R35 they usage of electricity as well this is insane now its been 2 days without electricity there is a fault and we don't get updates food on the fridge is spoiling still you are billed in that process when you don't have electricity i regret moving to that flat

You have a credit wallet account, where your payments should keep up with how electricity and water is consumed, as well as the daily portion for the Council promulgated fixed charges. The account must maintain a credit balance for the electricity meter to stay connected.
Your consumption figures for electricity, water and fixed charges for the past 3 months are as follows: | Invoice | Amount
| 01/03/2026 | R1 025.92
| 01/04/2026 | R1 097.65
| 01/05/2026 | R1 459.04
| Easypay Transaction Fees | R239.08
|Total Charges | R3 821.69
The payments received for the same period: R3 543.94
Kindly keep in mind that only the occupants of your household have control over how much is consumed.
Also to be noted is the fact that the service provider for the metering services has no authority over the tariffs and amounts charged. The tariffs that are used are the promulgated ESKOM tariff for electricity including fixed charges, and the water & sewer tariffs are according to the promulgated COJ tariff structure, including fixed charges.
Please log on to your online profile where the daily charges & consumption can be monitored. That enables a consumer to manage payments in such a manner that the electricity does not switch off by securing timely top-up payments.
