SCAM REFUND
I have just been informed by my bank FNB, that they were able to recover the funds from the Purevegan account at Standard Bank. So I am very pleased I need to complete a claim form and will receive my money back! Hope you all have the same experience, it was worth it to go to the police station in the end.

this company is scam
I bought in December 2020 a coffee machine which was never delivered. I went to the police station, they send me to the the bank, then the bank send me back to the police and they send me to another police station 10km further. So I gave up and have no case nummer.

They are scammers - open a police case!
Unfortunately we were also scammed by Pure Vegan. I have managed to call Standard Bank and reported the account as having been involved in fraudulent activity. Standard Bank has reported they froze the account. Standard Bank has also advised that they require all those who have been scammed to obtain Police Affidavits, and to send these affidavits along with an email where you advise what transpired i.e. when you made the purchase, from what bank account, the amount, what you were purchasing, and any other details you deem necessary. If you have opened a case with SAPS, please may you advise on the case number. I contacted the web host who indicated that the best bet is to go through the banks and find the information of the account holder as banks have a more stringent FICA policy and process. However, if the SAPS issues a subpoena, they would be able to release the information they have of the person who purchased the domain, and who contacted them. If you were in contact with Sandra Zweig, this seems to be a fictional person. I am hoping that the more of us who team together we can catch these guys and hopefully recoup our money. Please, if you have been scammed by Pure Vegan, please please open a police case and obtain an affidavit and send it to Standard Bank. Unfortunately, and against my better judgement, I also bought from these fraudsters on 23rd Dec and paid R6k for a Smeg kettle that usually costs R10k. The website looked very professional and I received a mail from Sandra to confirm all in order. I couldn't find any reviews on this company so assumed all is in good standing. I asked them to deliver only on 11th Jan as I was away on leave. Just came across all these comments and the website is suspended. I will go report to Douglasdale police this morning and link to the case no. already mentioned. Will also report at my bank as a fraudulent transaction.

Fraudsters, please stay away and don’t get caught. My wife paid in full for a coffee machine that she never got. We will be laying a case with SAPS soon and link it to the other case no. supplied by another reviewer in this thread... hopefully they get caught and arrested, and I’m hoping my wife gets her money back, although it’s not sounding promising
