I am submitting this report to highlight the extremely unprofessional and ********* treatment I have received from this company. My contract with them has already expired. After giving them an opportunity to match my current provider's offer—which they failed to do—I provided a one-month notice and proceeded with plans to port my number.
However, when my new provider attempted to port the line, this company refused to release it. They are now insisting on a 120-day notice period, even though the contract had already come to an end. This is unreasonable, unfair, and appears to be a deliberate attempt to block me from leaving. I made it clear that I will not pay for 120 days of charges for a contract that has already expired.
To make matters worse, the same consultant, Nicole from the Johannesburg branch, who previously made racially inappropriate comments toward me, is now the person refusing to release my line. The account manager, Stefan Bekker, has also been unable to offer any meaningful support or clarity.
When I first joined the company, the original team was professional and hands-on. The current team, however, has shown nothing but obstructive behaviour, including blocking clients and making unfounded demands.
I am asking for immediate release of my number and confirmation that no 120-day penalty or additional charges will be imposed. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I hope this complaint results in corrective action.
