So just to share my most recent experience with PureWas, I placed and paid for an order on the 30th Jan 2021 after confirming availability on the said stock, I asked for feedback regarding my order on the 4th Feb 2021 to which I was told he forgot to send it and would send that very same day, on the 10th Feb 2021 I followed up again as it was yet not delivered, I was told he would follow up, he offered to refund when I asked later that day again for feedback as I hadn't received any, I asked when it would be delivered as it was ordered for my sister in law for hospital during birth, he said latest Monday the 15th Feb 2021,I asked him is he 100% sure as her hospital due date is this Friday 19th Feb, he said "I know she will hence I gave that date". Monday morning 15th Feb 2021 I asked is the pajamas out for delivery, he said he will be sure after 9am, that evening at 19h45 I was told by my sister she did not receive anything, so I told him it was not delivered and that I wanted a waybill, at 20h40 he responded "I will send in the morning, maybe because it was start of the week" so I said no he can refund me, to which now all of a sudden 5 days later he couldn't as it was apparently too late. Then I was told if I cancel due to not receiving my goods or a waybill I would be liable to a R150 cancelation fee, I told him I would post this on scammers groups as I now feel scammed, he threatened me with slander, made a racist remark to me telling me its some tendency of white supremecy and arrogance, told me the texts between us aren't proof as his replies was sent under pressure of fear (I'd like him to prove that) he told me he isn't a scammer because I have received shoes from him before (which was sent incorrectly, he had to rectify by sending a free pair which he offered because couriers back and forth would cost him too much) now that I don't get my order or a waybill he uses this as an excuse that apparently scammers don't give away free shoes, I offered that he have the incorrect pair back just not at my cost. He told me he doesn't need a lawyer he can represent himself in court if my sister who is the client wanted to take matters further (he has as per his msg been paid to do so before), that my asking for my goods or a waybill at a certain time is extortion and intimidation. I managed to put my sister at ease and give him the benefit of the doubt 16 Feb 2021 08h49 I asked is my client getting her waybill today, 10h48 I asked again, 12h48 I asked again, he blatantly ignored all my requests. At 13h30 I let him know I ordered elsewhere as I needed to resolute the matter for my sister to have what she paid for, I paid the new pajamas from my pocket. I told him to take the R150 cancelation fee even though none of this was my fault and refund me the R250 balance to recoup some of my monies having now paid twice for pajamas, he responded noted will give through to Admin. 17 Feb 2021 I asked when I could expect my R250 refund, he answered "later today or 1st thing tomorrow morning" it is now 18 Feb 2021 20h00 and I have still not received my refund. I told him at 16h00 that I still have not received it he ignored me, at 18h06 again to which he responded "im coming from courier will give feedback when I get to my desk" (so now why was I told this would go through to admin) I notified him that as per the Law in SA I am allowed to place a bad review defaming a company if everything I say is factual with proof (which I have) and beneficial to the public (which this is), he responded thanks, I told him I had to pay R700 in medication for my daughter I wanted whats owed to me, he already took R150 from me which shouldn't even rightfully be so as he advertises 5 to 7 working days on all his orders, then when it has taken 14 working days and I have no waybill, no parcel, no refund I am held responsible for a cancelation fee, now I have to fight about the remaining R250 that is also mine. He then asked me what must he do while on the road, so I asked why was it not done 1st thing in the morning as he promised, he sent me a pic of being on the road with a voice note that if I don't stop he will block me and then unblock me when he stops again.
You know I have read so many scams where people buy online from someone, 1st order sometimes even the 2nd always goes smoothly then all of a sudden they start getting scammed, I did not once imply he is a scammer, I merely indicated that I am legally entitled to share my experience and place this very message on social media, then he started threatening me and making racist comments toward me, I have spoken to a NGO that acts against GBV, they have informed me that I would have a case against this man for his racial remark, I have spoken to legal council and have also been informed that I can take legal action against this man. I don't want to have to do this, I am honestly busy, I run a very ethical business I have kids etc I don't have time for nonsense like this, but then I think how does it stop, do I leave it write off R400 that I got nothing for from him plus an additional R400 so my sister could get what she paid for so R800 loss, do I just leave it and move on... What about others, how many others are there, have there been, will there be.
So I have given him until 20h00 this evening 18 Feb 2021 to pay me what is rightfully mine and he hasn't, he chose to take the route where his business now takes a bad reputation hit based on his actions. And I gladly call for him to threaten me again or to make another racial remark.
