Worst rental experience – avoid at all costs

This is by far the worst rental place I have ever stayed in. Despite charging high rent, they treat tenants like students in school accommodation rather than adults paying for a private residence.

The units are extremely small—more like a narrow passage—yet the rent is unreasonably high for the space and the poor service provided.

They use security guards as reception staff, which makes no sense. The guards have no knowledge of what is happening in the building and cannot assist with tenant issues at all.

The most disturbing part was how inhumane management was. I paid my rent consistently for months. Then my company experienced financial difficulty and salaries were paid late for two months. We submitted official written proof from our company directors explaining the situation. Despite this, management cancelled our lease.

They gave us only days to move out in December—a very difficult and expensive time of year—without offering at least a month’s notice or any reasonable assistance to find alternative accommodation.

Even worse, they cut off our electricity and water, despite the fact that we pay for our own electricity. This was done without a court order, which is *******. During this time, I was on my period and had no access to water. I had to rely on other people just to bathe and go to work. This went on for a full week. Denying tenants access to basic necessities like water and electricity is completely unacceptable and ********.

Now, after forcing us out, they are sending emails demanding “cancellation fees,” even though they were the ones who terminated the lease. Their statements contain large amounts that do not add up, and they have still not returned our deposit. They are demanding money even though we are no longer staying there.

If you value your dignity, basic human rights, and peace of mind, do not rent here. Any property associated with Quorum Holdings should be avoided. You will regret it.
