I am really disspointed in their customer care telephonically. We have been trying to call to make a confirmation for a booking which is tomorrow. The telephonic agents are mean and keep claiming to forward us to reservations department which then ends in the call being dropped.

I was at this restaurant on Friday the 4th October at 7pm to celebrate a birthday and wedding. My waiters for the evening were Benita. She presented the most unpleasant service due to the attitude and body language she gave to my guest. My guest was complaining about her. She doesn't write the orders down for the cooldrinks. She brings the wrong drinks to the table and when we tell her its the wrong then she give a whole attitude off like she doesn't want to fix her error. Its like we must just take what she brings to our table although its wrong. at the time my guest order 4 shooters she said that they can only get 3 shooters they must drink 1 quick to get the 4th shooter. What restaurant only have 3 shooter glasses? My guest wanted to pay her bill she had to wait more than 30 minutes to pay a cash bill!!!! Which is pathetic. Waiting time for drinks took so long its like she just didnt want to serve my guests. We had to ask other waiters to order us drinks as Benita was away most of the time. She confused my guests bills also what they never ordered. My guest told her to calm down as we told her about the wrong order and asked her to write the orders down so that she dont get confused she walked away while he was still speaking and gave him lip and attitude. Didnt expect such a service from a popular restaurant in a well-known established place in Cape Town. I hope this issue gets addressed with Benita. Food is average but prawns was not that good.

I made an online reservation for lunch on 12 May (mothers day). My reservation was confirmed by email (including their pricing for the lunch)- R295 per person. 2 days later I get an email to say that the lunch for mothers day is now R450 per person (which includes a welcome drink and "entertainment" and the payment must be made upfront. How disgusting to exploit mothers day like that with those exorbitant prices. Nowhere on their reservation platform did they advertise these ridiculous prices. Now we have to run around on the last minute to find an alternative .

Quarterdeck Restaurant: Excellent meals with a very nice environment. My wife and I go here when supper is included on date night. The food is absolutely delicious. No complaints. Quiet environment which suits us. Service is excellent and staff are very friendly and competent. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples.
