After taking my car to Q and A Gearbox, my car has more problems than before, I took the car to replace a bearing in the gearbox, and now I'm pumping my clutch at robots. I took it back and I'm told to remove the mat. I took it back for a 3rd time, and now my clutch is close to the floor and still no responsibility taken by Q and A. R14 000 later and big regrets taken my car to Q and A Gearbox in Strydom Park Randburg.DONT GO THERE!!!!!!

I have been having problems with my 2006 BMW X5 for about a years and a half with spurious warning lights indicating brakes , ABS failure and 4x4 failure. Following a service at Bryanston Auto Tech they recommended i take the vehicle to Q&A Gearbox to test the transfer case actuator which appeared to be faulty. The manager Quinton tested the device and found plastic gears faulty. He ordered a replacement kit for the gears and installed them in the actuator and replaced the actuator on the vehicle . He reset the alarms and all is back to normal this job cost R4800 compared to probably full replacement at BMW costing thousands of Raccands more they only remove and replace whereas Q&A gearbox repaired at a fraction of replacement cost. Great service and kept informed of cost and progress of the job over two days
