Review of my experience with Rawson Properties North Ridding

At first, dealing with Rawson Properties North Riding felt like butterflies and rainbows. Everything seemed smooth, friendly, and professional — right up until they secured my deposit. After that, the illusion quickly shattered and the experience turned into a complete nightmare.

Throughout my lease, the agreement between myself and the owner was broken multiple times. I raised my concerns, hoping Rawson — as the appointed agents — would step in and act fairly. Instead, I was met with silence and indifference. Melinda, Taryn, and Riana, the three people I had direct contact with, were either evasive, dismissive, or completely unavailable.

Then, in February, I was given 28 days’ notice to vacate the property. Rawson had promised to assist me in finding alternative accommodation — but when the time came, they went completely quiet. No effort, no check-ins, no care. I was left scrambling, with no support, and ended up homeless. It was devastating.

The worst part? When I finally managed to leave the property, I was informed that half of my deposit would be withheld. Not because I caused damage, but because of work the owner decided to carry out. This was never agreed upon, never discussed, and completely unjust.
