As a first-time homebuyer, the process of purchasing a property felt daunting, until I met Shelly Khoza from Sotheby’s. From the very beginning, Shelly was simply brilliant. She took the time to understand my needs, explain every step clearly, and never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed. Her professionalism and dedication were evident throughout the entire process. Shelly stood by me from the first viewing to the final signature, offering expert guidance and unwavering support. She was always available to answer my questions, no matter how small, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt confident in every decision. Her knowledge of the market and attention to detail made all the difference. What stood out most was her patience and genuine care, traits that can be rare to find in this industry. She wasn’t just interested in closing a deal, she was committed to finding the right home for me. That kind of integrity and service is priceless. I would recommend Shelly Khoza without hesitation to any first-time homebuyer. She made what could have been a stressful journey feel smooth and exciting. With Shelly by your side, you're not just buying a house—you’re gaining a trusted advocate.
At first, dealing with Rawson Properties North Riding felt like butterflies and rainbows. Everything seemed smooth, friendly, and professional — right up until they secured my deposit. After that, the illusion quickly shattered and the experience turned into a complete nightmare. Throughout my lease, the agreement between myself and the owner was broken multiple times. I raised my concerns, hoping Rawson — as the appointed agents — would step in and act fairly. Instead, I was met with silence and indifference. Melinda, Taryn, and Riana, the three people I had direct contact with, were either evasive, dismissive, or completely unavailable. Then, in February, I was given 28 days’ notice to vacate the property. Rawson had promised to assist me in finding alternative accommodation — but when the time came, they went completely quiet. No effort, no check-ins, no care. I was left scrambling, with no support, and ended up homeless. It was devastating. The worst part? When I finally managed to leave the property, I was informed that half of my deposit would be withheld. Not because I caused damage, but because of work the owner decided to carry out. This was never agreed upon, never discussed, and completely unjust. When I pushed back, Riana told me, without hesitation, that if I wanted my money back, I should take them to court. At that moment, I realized I had been ****med. They took my money under false pretenses, ignored their responsibilities as rental agents, and left me with nothing but stress, debt, and a deep sense of betrayal. They operated with zero accountability — like they knew most people wouldn’t have the time or resources to fight back. Melinda, Taryn, and Riana failed me at every turn. They had no intention of helping, mediating, or protecting me as a tenant. Instead, they allowed the situation to spiral, then wiped their hands clean when things got tough. If you’re thinking of renting through Rawson Properties North Riding, think twice. The moment they have your deposit, the charm ends. I was left out in the cold — literally — and financially taken advantage of. This wasn’t just poor service. This was a **** dressed up as a rental agency. Don’t let it happen to you.

If you need a realtor with attitude go here
Placed an order for a new connection line and its been 14 days since anyone contacted me with an update. After a call today I was told sorry there is a delay as there is no connection line to your premises......I should have just stuck to MWEB or Telkom really......
Not a single agent will pick up the call or respond... So unprofessional Found a house we really wanted only for an agent to respond a week later to state it's taken
After sales care very bad. Within a year of installing a branch and exhaust I had 2 comebacks with 3 leaks....Thank you very much Ill have someone else fixing my car from now on.....Really disappointed in the way you run a business, especially under these financial times. Your workmanship sucks....
I walked into the store this morning and was greeted very rudely by a women named Pam. When I queried about a shower glass I was told I needed to go fetch it my self from their storeroom as they don't have staff available...really why is your store open if I'm going to carry the glass myself. I was told by the store manager this is the way they do business and we take it or leave...so we left...poor customer service with pathetic attitude...do not support such bad service
