A few months ago Red Networks have installed fibre cabels in our complex in Roodepoort for an exlusive use to residents within the complex. We signed up with one of their fibre service providers and received our router. Now Red Networks are saying they are not going to activate the fibre until at least 20 residents in the complex signs up for fibre with one of their internet providers. This is absolute nonsense. Most of the residents are still on contracts with current wifi internet providers and will only be able to join in fibre once their contracts end. How is this fair to the residents who want to have their fibre activated now?
