Reddam House School Waterfall - Interest Abuse on School Fees

<p>Dear Sir</p> <p>I have paid the school fees in full, I did pay a few months late, but I paid in full.  Now the school refuses to handover the students matric certificate saying I must contact the lawyers in Cape Town.</p> <p>Every month I was receiving  a statement from the school and I made payment into the school account. After</p> <p>the final payment was made, and when I requested the matric certificate then they ask me to contact </p> <p>VAN RENSBURG & CO on ********** .  After I contacted a lady she sent me an account for R27 000.00 for interest and telephone calls and emails , sheriff etc, whereas no one contacted us, only the school send me statements.  Please advise if it is legal for them to charge interest on interest and for telephone call that we never received.   I requested proof</p> <p>of whatever they are charging me for, they did not send it.  We approached the principal, who said she will</p> <p>sort it out with the CFO, who never got back to us.  When my husband approached the school, they will not assist or see him but emails that the lawyer is holding the matric certificate.  please advise as we are getting desperate to sort this out.  Reddam House Waterfall</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
