Our lease expired at the end of June. All the documentation was completed and the office handed over as good as new. All that was due was the refund. Ria Vander Merwe assured me the process would be expedited if I get an interim reading, which is exactly what I did. Another three weeks passed before this was finalised. Then at the end of July I shared proof of account and completed the on line banking authorisation. This would then be paid by Thursday 31 July. On Friday finds were not reflecting and Mathepelo Maloka told me she had forgot to hand in our refund to the finance department. She assured it would be paid by Thursday 7 August. Low and behold I checked this morning and still no payment. This is the most useless company I have ever dealt with. They ignore emails, make empty promises and still no refund which is due to us. Be very aware before entering into a contract with this lot.

I have never experienced such a bad experience with a property agency. They want to let you work in an unsafe and unhealthy environment. When you bring it under their attention theres excuses and new terms that is unacceptable in my opinion as it is their responsibility to fix these building errors, without excuses and terms ! Extremely and disappointed in this company

Worked my ass off at this company for this company for years eventually resigned on the 24 of October 2023, Almost 2 months down the line I followed up with my pension claim and Redefine human resources sent the wrong claim form with wrong dates which prohibits my claim to be processed, The pension fund holder tells me they have been sending emails to Matheko the hr lady so she can ammend but with no avail, This exit process was done same week I resigned in October but nothing was even given attention, This is pathetic, and frustrating, Redefine can do better than this ,this is my money I worked for why do u want to frustrate me? I need urgent attention on this matter

My experience with Redefine Properties has been shocking to say the least. I concluded a deal for Redefine in May earlier this year and am still awaiting to be paid the commission due to my company. For the past 4 weeks I have been following up with their office for payment and get told that the payment will be made in the week, yet no funds have been received into my account. I receive no feedback and always have to follow up with them despite them telling me they will keep me informed. It blows my mind that something so simple can take so long when they have all my required documentation. It's a disgrace that a company of this size and who has been operating for many years conducts themselves in this manner. If this does not get resolved this week I will be informing many of my existing and future clients not to deal with Redefine as their staff that I have been dealing with lack professionalism and moral values it seems.

It has now been 6 days that I have not heard from Redefine Properties. ( Wrote a review on the 23rd August 2022 ) They replied to the previous review I gave saying get in contact with the customer care email on their website and within a day or 2 somebody shall respond back to me.. as of yet.. nobody has responded or called me. Redefine Properties: Termination of Lease Agreement as a result of Covid and Decline in business. I gave notice to to Redefine to vacate the leased premises at the end of the May 2022. I found a tenant to take over the premises as soon as I vacated it. This person owns a business next door to us and is an existing tenant renting from Redefine on a month-to-month basis and at a higher rental. This was the perfect tenant to take over our premises immediately. I gave his details to Redefine. I also asked the person to get in touch with Redefine directly, which he did on numerous occasions. I have these emails and a letters from the individual. Redefine Properties stalled and failed to respond in taking up this new tenant and to date have not taken any steps in securing the new lease/cession. I had been a loyal and upstanding client for 10 years. Due to Covid etc I have lost so much money and was forced to close doors. I requested to leave and offered my deposit which would cover everything. They ignored all steps I've taken to mitigate and prevent loss in respect of the lease agreement. Their attorneys have sent a letter of demand for almost R100,000. I can't afford this. We've taken our son out of crèche. We've endured stress, tears and loss of business during lockdown/Covid. We sold personal belongings pay their rent in hopes business would turn up. Now we have a big corporate business sending us a letter of demand from their attorneys demanding payment within 20 days of 100k even though we provided a new tenant for our shop and have not got that kind of money. "We're not landlords. We're people" is not fitting for this company

Golden walk is more like shopping in the most dangerous areas you could imagine the place is so hazardous that you can break your bones by just walking in the shopping complex. Their tiles are slippery and the management has no intention to fix this problem as they have had multiple incidents of people falling and having broken and fractured bones. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to make use of this place as the management does not care about its customers and you would probably get better care shopping in the streets and buying from the vendors. Ever since the incident at this place there has never been a day where a follow up of health and recovery has been done.
