I ordered a king size base over 5 weeks ago. Initially I was told 3 weeks. It is now going into the 6th week and I have not received it. I have sent four emails in the past two days and had no response. I called today and was promised a return call which I never received. The most awful customer service I have ever received. Stay away from Furniturespot.
Our lease expired at the end of June. All the documentation was completed and the office handed over as good as new. All that was due was the refund. Ria Vander Merwe assured me the process would be expedited if I get an interim reading, which is exactly what I did. Another three weeks passed before this was finalised. Then at the end of July I shared proof of account and completed the on line banking authorisation. This would then be paid by Thursday 31 July. On Friday finds were not reflecting and Mathepelo Maloka told me she had forgot to hand in our refund to the finance department. She assured it would be paid by Thursday 7 August. Low and behold I checked this morning and still no payment. This is the most useless company I have ever dealt with. They ignore emails, make empty promises and still no refund which is due to us. Be very aware before entering into a contract with this lot.
I called the market place yesterday to place an order for a lasagne. I was told they were unable to assist as they need 48 hours. I asked them if nothing could be done as I called in the morning which would have been 36 hours if I collected in the afternoon. I was simply told no nothing they could do. Very disappointed that the market place in craighall park does not put their customers first and go the extra mile for them. Suffice to say I will never use their service again.
I purchased a vehicle from WBC JHB South. From the start to finish it was an awful experience. On collection of the vehicle the admin lady where I had to sign was 20 minutes late. People were in and out while I was signing with no regard at all. When I took the vehicle, the scanner to release the vehicle was faulty. I then waited for over a month for the natis document. No one bothers getting back to me when I requested an update. It honestly is one of my most awful car buying experiences. I will never buy or sell a car through them again.

Update in the 2020 Renault kwid: I gave Eastvaal motors the opportunity to buy the accident damaged vehicle back from me. I was told to go and see the ombudsman if I was not happy. I got an assessor in who showed the paint work, inconsistent gaps in bumper and bonnet and a bent front right cradle. This is clearly bent and rusted and have photographic evidence. This after the dealer principal swore there was no damage to the vehicle and it was accident free. This will be taken further believe me.
I purchased a 2020 ranault kwid from Eastvaal Motors in Bethal in 2022. I recently sold the vehicle and was informed and showed that extensive paint work and body work had been done on the vehicle. This after I signed a document informing me the vehicle is accident free. I was certainly taken for a ride by this company. Stay very far away.
I flew from Cape Town to ORT (11:30 FA112 9 May 2022). The steward, a gent, asked me to pull my mask up above my nose which I did. On his return he abruptly asked me again to pull my mask up or he would reroute the aeroplane. I was completely shocked as I was chewing gum and unaware my mask had slipped down. I am a regular customer and make use of your services at least 2-3 time a month. I have never been so disrespected and taken aback by a person who obviously has a chip on their shoulder. I suggest you take this man for some lessons in manners and client relations before you lose more customers.
I booked a fortuner online. When I collected my vehicle I was told I need two cards. No matter how many times I explained I only had one card, the lady would not have any of it. She forced me to downgrade to a Corolla meaning my frail parents had to have luggage on their laps for a two hour trip. Absolutely diabolical stay away from Avis they feel nothing for their customers.
I enquired about a vehicle at Auto Extreme also explaining I had a vehicle to trade in. Wian contacted me back saying he would get back to me. He offered a market related price for the vehicle which was not too bad. I then asked him to see if he could negotiate the price with his boss. He promised he would get back to me and since then has not had the common decency to picj up the phone and call me. The fact is I was a keen buyer and would have been open to doing a deal. I have managed to receive much better service elsewhere and certainly will not recommend Auto Extreme to anyone. Very poor sales staff!
