I'm so disappointed I have been booking this hotel for the past 10 years. I know the dates when we can book for the December holiday this year was no different. I called at 08:00 am and was informed that the bookings for December only start at 9:00 am. That was Exactly at 09:00 I called spoke to Lindokuhle requested for corner room and was informed that those were already fully booked strange cos supposedly the bookings only started at 9:00 am nonetheless I proceeded to book a room with two double beds provided all the info required for the pro-forma invoice to be sent. Even mentioned to Lindokuhle that I would not like to follow up on pro-forma invoice he laughed it out and promised that I would not need to do so. Realising that the pro-forma was not coming through my email at 14:30 I called to follow up the same Lindokuhle I made the booking with did not know what I was referring to. He said he was writing down on a paper earlier, and might have missed my booking. This is not acceptable now he is offering some room with a sleeper couch instead for the exact same price.

My sisters and I had a warm welcome from sis happiness and bhut Dumi since Thursday till Sunday the 25 of February. If there is one I don't compromise on is customer services and we were given top notch. From communication, care and assistance whenever we needed. The things we appreciated the most were friendliness & respect from everyone including the cleaning team. Thank you Regal Staff for your professionalism even in these times where customer services is no longer prioritized. We will come back again.

I love Regal Inn, my family always goes straight after Xmas, we from Mthatha. I would like to request as u currently renovating to please put small fridges in the rooms. The heat in Durban that time is extreme, if u came back with a dogy bag u can never eat that food again as it spoils. The fridge in the kitchen is forever full. We put meat there but when we fetched the meat it was spoiled because the fridge is over loaded. Or better yet have more fridges for guests in the kitchen if the bar fridge in the rooms is impossible for you. But please consider this. Worst thing again this past festive, the water cooler in the kitchen was damaged, we didn't have cold water to drink the entire stay. That was a bit unfair.
